Really pleased to be at the launch of the #batonofhope event in Derbyshire today. Sadly too many of our residents lose their lives to suicide each year. The Baton is a powerful symbol of hope. Everyone can play a part in prevention. Raise awareness, talk openly, listen without judgement.

Spent yesterday afternoon meeting residents of Gamesley, High Peak, launching their Community Needs Assessment, alongside Derbyshire's public health team. An amazing community living with stark inequalities. Looking forward to next steps: working together on actions to support community priorities.
