As someone who utilized this program when I needed it. I am glad it was there. I was working full time as a single mom raising 3 kids and going to night school. I could not afford dr visits for my children and myself without it. It alleviated so much worry. I was not the exception I was most people.
Republicans and Trump's nominees are pushing for Medicaid work requirements.
They think people are mooching off the system.
But 64% of people on Medicaid already have a job. Most others that don't have a valid reason.
It's a solution in search of a problem that doesn't exist.
