Stormzy’s collaboration with McDonald’s feels so dystopian.

Selling your integrity for some nuggets is a new low—even for hip-hop heads. And the worst part? He deleted the tiny bit of advocacy he’d done for Palestine. Keeping it real: it ain’t cute.

Listening to Trump’s plans for the ethnic cleansing of Palestinians in Gaza—literally forced displacement—has been one of the most chilling moments.

Genocide survivors deserve safety, dignity, and respect for their right to their own land.

Hands off Palestine.

A thing about surviving:

‘Good’ music feels familiar because our ears are tuned to it, while ‘bad’ music breaks the rules, creating tension and discomfort. It’s raw, rebellious, and pushes boundaries, making us listen in a new way.

Sometimes, that’s where the real magic happens—when it challenges us to feel more.
making bad music is somehow way cooler to me than making good music.

Half my energy goes to defending my gender nonconformity to cishets, the other half to defending my rights as a Palestinian—yet I’m still expected to carry on like everyone else.

That exhaustion isn’t a choice, but it fuels my drive for change. The fight isn’t optional; it’s survival.

1984 isn’t just a novel—it’s a warning. Orwell’s vision of surveillance, propaganda, and controlled truth feels disturbingly relevant today. If you’ve ever questioned the power of governments or media, this book will shake you. Read it before fiction becomes reality.

oh, and bring a highlighter!
If you haven’t read Orwell’s 1984, I suggest you do while you still can.

It’s funny how these so-called “accidental gestures” only ever seem to happen to fascist right-wingers.

Anyone who did it by accident would immediately take it back and apologize—but we’ve seen none of that.

Remember when Jotam Confino accused me of forcing a Gaza talk on Go’ Aften Live?

Journalists confirmed it was a lie, he deleted the post, and then blocked me on all platforms after I called him out.

Zionists will do Zionist things for political goals. Ew.

This is state-sanctioned violence, plain and simple. Trans women are being dehumanized, violated, and used as tools to pacify cisgender men in prisons—let that sink in. ‘V-coding’ isn’t just a term; it’s a deliberate system of cruelty.

If this doesn’t infuriate you, you’re not paying attention.
This is what happens to trans women placed in men's prisons. They are subjected to daily horrific rapes and used as human chattel to pacify aggressive and violent inmates. It's called v coding.

Boycott Israel. Sanction Israel. Divest from Israel. Refuse to perform in Israel. Arrest Israeli soldiers and war criminals. Genocide is not in the past. Genocide is not forgotten. Genocide is an active event. The land remains occupied, bulldozed, and collectively punished.

When a QTBIPOC speaks, their words are often ignored until a white person repeats them. Sit with that—and unlearn it.

Exiting Meta platforms might be socially or economically costly right now. But without awareness and collective action, change will only slow further, sinking the chances of leaving even lower. Use the momentum. Organize, mobilize, act.
Okay, so a lot of people are understandably really eager to move away from Meta platforms right now.

So I thought it might be nice to give some context on how difficult that is actually going to be.

This is not to discourage anyone, but rather to encourage long-term thinking.

I don’t befriend anyone who oppresses my right to express gender nonconformity or love whomever I choose. With the same absolute intolerance, I’m adding the right to return and self-determination in Palestine to that list.
