I originally wrote this song 20 years ago in 2004. I didn't know much about writing #music then, and the melody was extremely simple, but the song itself has always had a soft spot in my heart. Now in 2024, I'm pleased to be able to produce it as it should have been.

Mum came into my craft room on yesterday and asked if it would possible to make "some of those really cute felted animals I've seen for the Christmas tree". Never having needlefelted anything as complex as that, and with no tutorial or reference, I have to say I'm proud of these #needlefelting 🧶

I can't believe how much progress I'm making on the #Northumbriansmallpipes after having started them only two months ago. I can now play a few songs reasonably smoothly and few more haltingly. Amazing Grace is my smoothest, with Chevy Chase, and Somewhere over the Rainbow.

My middle earth mat is getting covered in glue and has been cut when my craft knife slipped etc, so I wanted something to cover my desk which I can easily put a craft mat over.... Plus I wanted an excuse to get my sewing machine out...🧶🪡🧵

Yes, I'm flooding in with posts, but trying to train the algorithm to show it what I like.... this was my first piece of threadpainting embroidery - I swear, I did cross stitch for years and years before I discovered this, and I prefer it SO MUCH. I've been hooked! 🧶
