Spent all day yesterday roasting squashes for my homemade pumpkin pie and butternut squash soup recipes. (Also made roasted pumpkin seeds, but that's for home. Heading to the relatives' house for a bacchanalia of Appalachian gluttony, then home for a nap. Tomorrow: Thanksgiving Leftover Enchiladas!

Okay, I've been here for like three days, time for my first callout post. Sure, Kraft Foods admits they use some AI images on their recipes page, but this is... it's too far. Not only is the recipe absolutely hideous, it is hideous in a completely different way than the monstrosity in the photo.

Just got our tickets for They Might Be Giants in March, very exciting! I think the last time I tried to go see them we missed the concert because our babysitter flaked at the last minute, many many years ago. If I start now, I just might be able to listen to all their songs again before the concert.

If your account's in good standing and your phone is working, your local towers may be the problem. Out here in North Carolina we were in SOS mode or No Service for days or weeks because so many towers were dead, broken or gone. Lots of storms all over this weekend, maybe you lost a nearby tower?

Okay yes, the new Minecraft movie still looks terrible, but in a much more campy and fun way than the last trailer. And I will admit that watching Mumbo Jumbo run around and play with bits of the set did help. The CGI is pretty bad, but the props are so fun!
