The fact we have secret police whisking people off the streets doesn’t get enough attention. It ain’t normal and we’re further down the road to authoritarianism than you think.

What’s supposed to happen?

If my daughter is out and masked men grab her, claiming they’re ICE, drag her away w/out letting her prove she’s a citizen… w/out calling me, her dad… what is she supposed to do?

Does she not have the right to fight back, as we have taught her, to free herself. Run?

I see it. I have lived it. 83 years ago, the U.S. government turned upon a group of its own citizens and residents and sent them to internment camps without due process. I was there among them. American fascism is back. It is here. It is now.

To the world:
We are fighting back. Our movement has been silenced by the media here—but we are not backing down. This is what our streets looked like across multiple cities. Tomorrow, there will be more of us! Raise a glass to freedom.

Does postpartum depression permanently alter your brain? I’m 7 months in and most days it feels like I’ll never be myself again.

4 years ago I was a crunchy, anti vax alternative medicine following mom. Today my kids are fully vaxxed and I now see most of alternative medicine as the grift it is. Proof we can change our minds!

I’ve lived in Germany for almost a year now. Biggest thing I miss about home? Free and accessible parking… I’ve never needed parking as a line item in my budget before. BUT one of the biggest things I enjoy here is walkable cities, so it seems they balance each other out.

I always feel awkward on what to post, but I’m hoping this can be a place to share more about deconstruction, living with chronic pain and motherhood so the a disability.
