Just beat Anthem, on the eve of its shutdown. It was fun, and a look at a game that had a lot of potential. The combat, the flying, the characters. I can't help but feel it would have been better suited as an RPG. But even as an online game I think it could've been turned around. RIP #ANTHEM

Just tried out Top Golf, it's fun! Best way I'd describe it is bowling but its with a golf ball and on a driving range instead.

Anthem is really fun! It should probably not have been a live service and instead have been a co-op RPG with repeatable dungeons or something. Like a 3D diablo. And I should be able to take some of these character I meet in Fort Tarsis on mission in lieu of another player!!! So much potential!!!

Just finished the Stranger Things finale and you know what, I'm happy with it. I know there's been a whole bunch of of commentary on the drop in quality of the series over the years, especially this last season. But I think when it's all said and done, I'm content with what we got!

Bluesky really does get the worst buzzkill people from Twitter. How is the Avatar discourse WORSE here. Like on the hellsite they're at least engaging with the film and there's a good amount of filmtwt that is rooting for it. But over here it's the same low effort "no cultural impact" dismisals. 😭

Just finished Don Lee's The Roundup series and overall I'd say it's a good and fun watch.
It also really funny how simultaneously stronger Detective Ma gets in each one and also how nerfed. Because by the last film hes lost his ability to 1 hit KO goons lol

I think AI in games is sorta a lost cause. I feel many don't understand that AI can touch a game in many ways. And as Game Development is the marriage of The Arts and Tech, you gotta understand that the Tech side has fundamentally differing opinions on AI and its usefulness. Expedition 33 exhibit A.
