Some Democrats act as if public opinion is a static thing that they have no ability to influence. Politicians like @elenaparent.bsky.social should stand up and fight for trans rights and make the argument instead of throwing trans people into the bus. That's how you create change historically.

The left does have some violent extremists. But it's pretty clear the problem is much much worse on the right when you compare the motivations behind the violence, the amount of human harm and deaths, and the number of incidents. Most of the claims that the left is a violent mob is just projection.
