Listening to researchers share their work on fostering #inclusivity and #equality in #MedicalResearch was a real privilege.
The presenters reminded us just how much genuine progress is made when we truly listen to #PatientsVoices and collaborate across the field.

Experiencing surgery as a #patient puts you in an entirely different mindset compared to when you’re translating or creating #MedicalDocuments.
It’s a reminder that our end-users aren’t just readers; they’re people navigating stressful and vulnerable moments.

Last week, I attended two conferences: #RAREsummit25 and “Let’s COCO & Celebrate the Doers” by RAREQoL EDIRA.
Both highlighted the need for inclusive research and equitable care for rare disease patients & marginalised groups.
Real progress comes from listening!

Nice way to start the (working) day, especially when it's only Wednesday and already feels it has been a long week.

There are still too many people thinking medical care starts when you have a medical problem.
Very difficult to promote #EarlyDetection without resorting to fear mongering.
