As a #language #teacher, I do aim for customer satisfaction, but by my standards: learning goals, exam grades, repeated business, tales of successful travels, rekindled love of heritage culture.

Your friends, who are an A2 at most and who struggle with basic vocabulary, become a ⭐ C1 ⭐ when they talk about their best hobby or a social issue that affects them.
It's not surprising and shouldn't be discouraged.

Look, although it's very commendable to want to learn any form of #Greek, the ancient Classics and the Greek in your Bible are not what you need if you are learning the language to introduce the newborn to your in-laws or to start a hospitality business in #Greece.

Do you ever mix languages (not the "got confused" way, the "naturally switch back and forth" way) intentionaly and naturaly?
In a relaxed conversation, I tend to do this often, and other people do, too. We use what comes to mind, maybe catchwords, a movie line, a quote, or just a phrase.

I'm usually telling you to learn the grammar rules. I usually insist and make a fuss about it. I'm the one who keeps nagging you about proper patterns and proper endings.
So, when I say "don't bother with rules for this specific point", maybe you should trust me and listen.

I do.
I don't think a foreign language #teacher who has never learnt a foreign #language can understand the assignment.

Please do not write the "pronunciation" of the TL in your language. Especially if the alphabet is different.
If you insist you *must* do it, at least use some international phonetic system, such as #IPA.

"Why ignore your own prompt"? It said something about statistics and rewards. Took me 5 days to fix the text.

I understand you might want to pass your #Greek #citizenship exams with minimum effort and strategic studying, but it doesn't hurt to actually learn a couple of things like geography and key historical figures.
Believe me, it's quicker than merely memorizing all the A B C D mutliple-choice answers.
