When the Arkansas Valley Conduit broke ground, so many people in Southeastern Colorado let out a sigh of relief that their communities would finally get the clean drinking water they deserve.
Voters in southeastern Colorado overwhelmingly supported President Trump, who just vetoed a clean drinking water project there. Locals are stunned to be caught up in Trump's crusade against Colorado. @marcsallinger.bsky.social reports from Bent County:

It was great to spend time in Windsor on Tuesday. I stopped by the famous Halfway Homestead—Windsor's oldest buildings dating back to 1873. The historic site served as a rest stop at the halfway point between Greeley & Fort Collins and is undergoing a great renovation!

Today is the last day of Open Enrollment in the Affordable Care Act via Connect for Health Colorado. Even with federal tax credits expiring, the state of CO is introducing some financial assistance. So if you still need coverage for 2026, please enroll!

It was great to be with folks in Arapahoe County last week. This suburban community faces its own set of unique issues including historic high home prices, some of the highest property tax increases in the state, and housing shortages.

A roof over one's head is not a luxury, we must do better.

My dad is my hero. He’s the best, most ethical person I know. I’ve always wanted to be just like him. Which is why I followed him into the Navy. My dad served 37 years. I served 34.

In 2018, I joined him as an admiral, making us the first U.S. Naval Academy father/daughter to both reach flag rank.

People are still feeling our state's housing crunch in a big way. The Colorado Sun reported on this. Congress MUST start acting to help Americans afford not just housing, but ALL necessities. Lauren Boebert has abdicated her responsibility on this front over and over.

May Renee Nicole Good rest in peace and may her family find strength.

Just when you thought Lauren Boebert was going to do the right thing and vote to help thousands of Coloradans afford health insurance… she quickly reverted back to the same old LB, harming families with her callous disregard for their health.
January 9, 2026 at 2:33 AM
It’s 2026, which means people across Colorado are having to make the impossible choice of paying for wildly more expensive health insurance costs or buying groceries or paying their rent. No one should be in this position. Once again, Lauren Boebert has left Coloradans in a lurch.

This is political punishment that hurts children. Putting people , and especially kids first, should never be optional.

Boebert needs to step up and do her job and make sure kids in this district get the resources they deserve.

As a fellow retired Naval officer, I’m once again outraged at this administration's attempt at retribution toward Captain Mark Kelly. This is not the first time this administration has targeted service members, and we know it's not going to be the last.

It’s taken me a minute as I’m still wrapping my head around the fact that it’s 2026! But I’ve spent some time reflecting on a both busy AND restful December.

Keeping our communities safe requires making sure our first responders, firefighters, EMTs, and law enforcement with the training, technology, and resources to respond quickly and effectively. This is a great example. https://cbsn.ws/44WO21r

It's an innovation Castle Rock Police say will be game changing for the safety of their community -- drones as first responders.

In Washington County, I talked to the Perry Brothers Seed Company in Otis. Colorado is the number one producer of Proso Millet — our state accounts for over half of the total U.S. supply.

Lauren Boebert hasn't held an in-person town hall in years—or a tele-town hall since March. In 2025, Congress was in session 160 days, leaving roughly 200 she could have spent with constituents. But… nothing.
