So it turns out... the US air travel system was incredibly, deeply dependent on federal funding to just run day-to-day all this time, to the benefit of private airline shareholders, when everyone thinks that state-run trains are leeching off the government. Weird!

Finally got around to watching the new Superman movie. All I can say for now is that it's good. Definitely worth watching at least once if you're into superhero movies.

The planet is burning up and my trans friends fear for their lives. I don't give a shit about the stock market or gas prices coming down. A good economy is meaningless when people can't safety live in it.

I have a giant pile of receipts for all my expenses for the year that I'm going through, and it's kinda fun seeing the things I spent money on earlier this year. I'll be looking at one and be like "Oh right, I bought that cheese bread in Helena when I was testifying against the bathroom bill"
