I really can’t with this “we want the best and brightest” nonsense coming from the Trump administration. But how to characterize what they really want…the worst of the whitest? The chest-thumping and biased? Or perhaps the dregs of detritus? All apt if you ask me.

Really hoping that Pete Buttigieg runs next year for the open Senate seat in Michigan. A young, vibrant voice of reason and resistance more needed now than ever.
