pronouns? she/her what’s up? I've been ED clean/free/recovering for like 5 years (3rd year of uni now, stopped end of year 10/grade 11) and idk recently everything just came back crazy. I think my BMI slipped to the overweight zone and that really really triggered me, plus I've not really been feeling in control recently, and lots of my clothes have stopped fitting. I want to fast and starve and lose weight but at the same time I'm a bit scared and hesitant because I know it's probably bad. At the same time tho I'm so addicted to looking at thinspo and wanting to be so thin, and the diet posts where ppl eat like 400 cals in a day. Also, I really don't want to lose control over the urges to stop eating, because I know for a fact I'll start sh-ing, and I'm conscious and aware enough rn to know that I really really don't want to do that. pronouns? she/her what’s up? I wish more practitioners & insurance companies recognized & knew how to deal with atypical anorexia. I know it is treated more as restriction but it is more than that. When I was getting evaluated at my PCP to get into res- I had a murmur, that light blonde body hair all over my arms, mild edema in my legs, and tonssss of electrolyte imbalances. I lost an extreme amount of weight in a short time before I was given an ultimatum from my family to enter treatment. Despite my doctors notes, therapist notes and intake specialist notes. I was denied 3 times. It wasn't until I was in PHP that everyone was like.. "Oh.. we can't help her here." YEA NO SHIT I TRIED TELLING YALL. They ended up chalking it up into bulimia bc of the exercise purging and insurance was like "Yeah know what? hell ya we will approve it now.” are you looking for anything specific from this confession? wanted to get it off my chest
