We don’t yet know what motivated the person who shot and killed Charlie Kirk, but this kind of despicable violence has no place in our democracy. Michelle and I will be praying for Charlie’s family tonight, especially his wife Erika and their two young children.

That awkward moment when you realize your Windows OS license is grandfathered for life, but not any of the Office Suite.
Guilt is adaptive.
When you feel bad about violating certain moral precepts, it's human. You're being reflective, and there's a path towards better behavior.
When you keep giving yourself permission to be bad and writing it off, a part of you withers. It's corrosive.

I have an idea for a fun exercise. I know not everyone agrees with the Categorical Imperative not to lie, but I wonder how long you could go without lying in your own life. Maybe count the hours + days and report back? We could have a leaderboard and everything.

The difference in difficulty between writing when I write every day or trying to write after a long break is really substantial. It is so much easier to get the words flowing when I do it every day.

I'm sure many are familiar with the Dark Triad, but are y'all aware of the Light Triad? It notably includes Kantianism as one of its three pillars.
So often psych concepts seem only focused on pathologizing negative behavior. Nice to see a counterweight.
