We're getting our first meaningful snow today in Denver, and instead of getting to enjoy it and looking forward to skiing it this weekend, we're packing up for MFF.

I figured out the trick to get myself to run faster & further... Just turn on the downpour when I'm two miles in and as far as I get from my house. In other news I just ran a 35' 5k.

Woo! Sub 36' 5k. It's not great for where I have been in the past, but it's faster than I've gone since my asthma got worse a year or so ago.

It's kinda funny watching old punk bands fly into Denver and get destroyed by the altitude. (I say as an old, but one who has acclimatized.)

I used to feel indulgent showing up to cons on Thursday, even Thursday evening... Now that I start to see people showing up on Tuesdays, it seems absolutely nuts.
