Gearing up for Cookie Weekend. Can’t find the recipe book that has my grandma’s sugar cookies. Remember seeing it a couple weeks ago and thinking “that’s in an odd place” and then NOT doing anything about that.

Decided to start my week on the right foot: tripped the alarm at the new office AND parked in the wrong lot.

I will (hopefully) be a lot more productive when we leave here.

Relishing the last couple days my org will be in this office building. Got a coffee from down the street. Torn between watching the sunbathers at the pool of the apartments across the way or the workers chucking debris down a seventh-floor trash chute across the parking lot. Bikinis win, narrowly.

Hearing dogs in the neighborhood howl along with the tornado siren tests: always 10/10
