Hope you enjoyed DIABOLIQUE, Andrew. To clarify, Henri-George Clouzot was not a Nazi “collaborator.” He continued to work in his home country after is was occupied by an invading army that illegally seized control. Not everyone can flee their homeland and pick up their career elsewhere.
I’ve heard about this and seen clips, but this will be my first viewing. I’ve been told it’s good, so far every foreign film @eddiemuller.bsky.social has shown has been outstanding.
Not a fan of Nazi collaborators, but I’m willing to give it a chance.

Hope you enjoyed DIABOLIQUE, Andrew. To clarify, Henri-George Clouzot was not a Nazi “collaborator.” He continued to work in his home country after is was occupied by an invading army that illegally seized control. Not everyone can flee their homeland and pick up their career elsewhere.

TCM “franchises,” such as Noir Alley, Musical Matinees, Silent Sunday Nights, and TCM imports, were designed to be one-a-week “destination” shows. It’s meant to foster community, as opposed to the “I’ll watch whatever whenever I want” mentality. Plus, they’d have to pay me more.
