You will conduct reviews of relevant literature, UKRI and other funded projects in the UK and overseas, develop design-led methods and tools for collecting, analysing, interpreting, and presenting data, and develop and deliver workshops/ focus groups/ network meetings to explore and examine the outcomes of the research. You will manage and prioritise your own workload in collaboration with Prof. Rodgers and ensure that all activities are completed to deadlines and you will write up the results of this research and contribute to the production of reports and publications. You will input as a team member to administrative activities and assist, where required, with any relevant knowledge exchange activities.</p> <p>To be considered for the role, you will be educated to a minimum of Degree level in a design-related subject such as Product Design, Architecture, Graphic Design or other cognate area and you will have sufficient breadth or depth of knowledge in undertaking research for external agencies. You will have knowledge of appropriate research methods, have an ability to plan and prioritise your own workload, with supervision, and you will have an ability to work within a team environment. You will have excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to listen, engage and persuade, and to present complex information such as reports, papers, and presentations in an accessible way to a range of audiences including external partners.</p> <p>This work will explore and identify solutions/ innovations, critical gaps, and required research for design-led interventions that will reduce the need for people living with dementia (PLwD) to receive hospital care. This 6-month project will be structured around the UK Design Council&rsquo;s Systemic Design Framework (Design Council, 2021) that facilitates exploration of issues to take focused action, develop thematic projects with the aim of radical transformation across social care including residential dwellings, community structures and others to reduce preventable acute hospital admissions. <br> <br> Brief Outline of Job:<br> To assist in the delivery of research activities as part of a small team, working on an established research project under the general supervision of Professor Paul Rodgers; to input as a team member to administrative activities; to assist where required with relevant teaching and knowledge exchange activities.<br> <br> Main Activities/Responsibilities:<br> 1.
