Ok then, I'll stop holding back.

To scheme means to form a secretive or devious plan. Tempting can be more transparent.

You knew what I was doing. So it was more transparent, not secretive. ;)

Wow. You must have a lot of mercy then.

When you format the README for a tool using itself.

I'm actually having fun using Merewrite myself. So it's a successful project.

newlines become headers. Other blocks separated by two newlines become paragraphs in the sense of the HTML p tag.
Words in all-caps become emphasized. That's it!

I'm finding it fun to write with no explicit formatting but getting back a well-formatted markdown or HTML output instead. (2/2)

I made a thing which formats pieces of writing based on implicit semantics and structure rather than than explicit characters, keywords and tags.

It's pretty simple. It has "sentence terminators" like periods or question marks. Sentences without terminators that are separated by two ... (1/2)

sustaining focused sessions consistently being more difficult.

I might benefit from reminding myself that how long something takes or how difficult something feels is not merely a function of how complex the task is, but also of whether and to what extent I'm interested in it.

I often overestimate how long it would take me to finish simple programming tasks. It took me just a 5 hour-long focused sprint to do something I thought would take at least 3 days.

Similarly, I can underestimate how long certain projects that I am not as interested in can take. If only due to...
