"every fraction of a degree matters" is true as hell. In the same way that releasing CO2 hurts people and planet, avoiding its release saves us from potential harm

An atmospheric walk today in a glorious lost valley on the edge of Bodmin Moor: full of naturally regenerated willow, hazel & oak, festooned with mosses and the weird fish-smelling Sticta lichens (this one's Sticta sylvatica). Found otter spraint & some Hazel Gloves fungus too.

Christ. I work with big numbers for a living. I thought I understood the scale of the inequality but I was not prepared for this graphic.

No billionaire need exist. Period. Every billionaire is a policy failure.

Equity Investors have been making more money the last five years on clean energy champions than on oil majors. There will always be failures, but overall spending on clean energy in going up as costs come down while global oil growth is going sideways.
