In the spirit of #bluesky beginnings, I've been saving good news.

After a rough year, I've found myself in the writer's room of a game in development. There are few feelings better than having a joke pitch land or narrative idea spark story.

Despite my many gripes about life, I am grateful.
Found just outside LA's Little Tokyo, there are some things that refuse to let the rain wash them away.

Person in front of me in the coffee line didn't choose a tip amount before walking away. Don't worry. Someone, I won't say who, but SOMEONE made a decision for them.

Halloween in suburbia is fucking wild. There are these two homes, side by side with the MOST decorations in the neighborhood, who took EVERYTHING down by 10pm ON Halloween night. I'm living in proximity to sociopaths. Cool, decorative sociopaths, but still!

We are down to a single bag of candy but our spirits are high and our lights are still on.

Ran out of candy last year. Not this time, Satan. Not this time... (-_-)

Happy Halloween, All!

Had an 'Over the Garden Wall' themed Halloween party and one of our guests outdid themselves on the pumpkin painting. The moment she started mixing paints we knew it was going to be special. #overthegardenwall #pumpkin #painting #artsky

My new favorite thing is to take words like 'Underwhelmed' and 'Disappointed' and instead describe myself as 'whelmed' or 'appointed'. The English language is very, VERY silly.

F*cked around and accidentally found out my feature comedy, The Last Clap 👏, is the best thing I've ever (re)written.

@joeabercrombie.com I'm in a bind. On one hand, I read all of your books and had a better time than most of your characters. On the other hand, I read all of your books and now have to question everything I knew about the genre. Is there ANYONE you could recommend for my literary rebound?

I must have missed that classic romp where Sgt. Stubby storms the beaches of Normandy, surviving only to withdraw from his pups due to severe PTSD and a rawhide addiction.

Nomortland. Season 8. Episode 8. Rick and Morty. An episode of TV that sort of hugs you in the face of an uncaring universe.

Spotted by a friend's sister in Georgia. Her neighbors like to dress up their manatee mailbox for EVERY holiday. Any guesses which holiday this one represents?

@aclu.org any chance someone can wake up the folks over at the ACLU of SoCal? Not exactly inspiring confidence in their after donation automated email.

Nothing. Literally nothing lights a fire under my need to edit/revise/scream into the void like a request to read my work.

Going to start a service where writers get a strange, yet compelling read request in their inbox that expires 3 days later.

I did this over in the bad place and want to continue the tradition here.

For my birthday, I want to support passion (in all artistic forms).

So, if you have a project (or know someone who does) that excites you, shout it out. I want to be excited about it with you.
