Kaze Emanuar did a video on the Analogue 3D that sums up pretty much exactly what I take issue with from Analogue's marketing direction.

Huh, Ace Combat 8 was announced? From the description, it looks like it's going to have squad bonding and a protagonist that exists outside the plane. Bold move after Assault Horizon, but maybe it'll work this time.

Every time I open a newly installed browser and a search ends up on Google, I'm like "I'm sure I can still find what I'm looking for..."
... I honestly have no idea how anyone uses Google anymore without tearing their hair out. It's so bad.

I had a whole thing written up about the Collective Shout thing but TL;DR people like this have been around since forever and that they're only now gaining global influence is weird and frankly alarming.
Platforms have their hands tied because the alternative is to not be able to do business.

I think this is interesting for a different reason: A lot of the same people who are pushing what we call AI are the people who were big on NFTs and crypto. I think there's a difference in how media influences people's perceptions more than we like to think. But there is yet another angle to it.
Every. Single. Story. about women not using AI as much as men portray it as bad for their future career prospects (without a shred of evidence) and a result of women being fearful little ladies rather than looking at AI's output and saying "this sucks, it's not going to help me."

Today was Canada Day, but in Newfoundland it was Memorial Day. At Beaumont-Hamel in WWI, the Royal NL Regiment were ordered to follow up a failed attack presumed successful. Left in clear view of German guns, they were decimated.
At school, I recall more WWI history than WWII.

Today in pointless knowledge: Via 86box, Windows 95 can achieve very high refresh rates, but at least in this configuration it taps out at 1,238 Hz. I can specify higher, but it won't actually switch to it.

Watching the Switch 2 launch is interesting. I don't really feel a great need to have one, but some people are going nuts for it. From my perspective, it's eerily like a WiiU situation where they launched without any software to back it up.
