This former railroad bridge has since been converted for use by pedestrians and bikes. There's still an active rail line that crosses another nearby bridge over the same river, but there aren't as many active tracks in this area as there were in the past

I'd never seen coots before this - I briefly mistook them for goslings. It seems American Coots and Canada Geese don't mind hanging out together. (I don't know if that's normal behavior) 🪶
