@raspberrypi.com I just rebuilt a Squeezebox/Lyrion Music Server client, replacing a Pi3 (with flaky wi-fi) & a 2015 iqAudio DAC with a spare Pi 3B+ & a new Pi DAC Pro.

Excellent audio performance & one of the great audio bargains.

The Bavarian Supermoon
My idea for this supermoon was to capture it with typical Bavarian landscape elements: an old tree and a little chapel. Everything turned out well.

@axios.com Re: "Dumb homes" are the latest flex. The more devices you have in your home making connections to the Internet, the greater the chance your home network has been, or will be, compromised. Cyber-security is hard & time-consuming for professionals. Amateurs would best reduce the need.

@rbreich.bsky.social Consider the last time the Democrats notionally controlled the 3 branches of Government. They allowed 2 rebels to derail their legislative agenda for most of 2 terms. Did that indicate a serious desire to govern?

@rbreich.bsky.social After observing the Democrats in Congress for the @ 30 years I've been in the US I suspect that many, in the secret hearts, don't want the responsibility of governing. Being the Minority is cozy & remunerative enough for them.

@motortrend.bsky.social Re the "2025 Mercedes-AMG GT63 S E Performance": it may be fast, but the front view is ruined by the huge "mouth". A sop to Chinese-market tastes (like the over-sized & equally ugly BMW "nostrils")?

@aintright.bsky.social I liked the photo of your mill home. Whereabouts is it? My first home was in Elland, which had some splendid mill buildings. Being generally against bulldozing history, I've always been pleased to see them re-used.

@davidbright1.bsky.social I was smitten with the Bavarian Alps when I first saw them 50+ years ago. It probably kindled my enduring love of mountain scenery. Your photos are lovely.

@sbagen.bsky.social Dems have had a long time now to become thoroughly addicted to big-donor/special-interest money. Would they know how to survive without it? Could they? Are they seriously likely to try? The status-quo is too cozy for them. The Minority are still securely on the "gravy-train".
