As we enter the festive season our Head of Liver Anne shares insights on the state of #OrganOnChip: A promising step to reduce animal models, offering advantages over standard 2D cultures. While not yet a full replacement, the future holds potential as we increase complexity.

They don't! Why? Because the samples we can take from our organ models are very similar. We can look at the supernatants, at the cells during incubation but also extract the tissue afterward for downstream analysis.
