I said years ago that #California is the state most likely to initiate #secession from federal government. Their immense economic power sets them apart. They expect to self-govern & when that expectation is thwarted by feds, they don't feel a need to be submissive. They know they can go it alone.

seeing lots of critiques from mainstream Dems about the protests (of a federal force that is literally black-bagging people without due process). instead of endless "left vs liberal" debates, perhaps as an anti-MAGA coalition (a popular front?) we can internalize this idea:
the hong kong protestors used the phrase "do not split" to mean that the radical protest and peaceful protest arms of the movement should refuse to criticize each other.
