Yes, I’m wearing suspenders and yes, I had oatmeal and a hard boiled egg for breakfast and yes, I’m turning into my father and yes, I’m good with that.

I do not understand what “the dog who didn’t bark” means in this context.

I’m fifty years old and today I learned that there is professional (American) football in Canada. In my defense, I‘ve never followed American football in the U.S.A., but it still seems lIke I would have heard of it before.

I haven’t had health insurance since 2024. It sucks, but day to day I’m pretty healthy.

I don’t suffer from food insecurity. I imagine that sucks worse.

I find it impossible to judge whether the capitalizing systemic harms from the shutdown have reached the point where Dems are right to retreat.

#Pluribus ep 1 is frustrating because the zombie virus Armageddon is stupidly obvious to the viewer but the protagonist is totally clueless and makes all sorts of normal but idiotic choices.

I see James Watson died. So it's time for a science joke.
"What did Watson and Crick discover?"
"Rosalind Franklin's notes."
Good joke.

I‘ve never felt so seen as when John Oliver reminded people with broken tail lights to take the laundry out of the dryer. He really gets me!

Reading the tea leaves, I think the #RedSox have an ambitious plan for this off season.

It’s perfectly ok to end a conversation because this is your only chance to be alone for the next week or so.

My new life strategy of giving people lots of positive feedback seems to be having good results. Surprise! Telling people why you like them makes them want to spend time with you!

I lIke this photo as an example of the way fiction contains truth. If you watch the video, this didn’t really happen the way it appears. On the other hand, it portrays his truest, deepest character as a man who DGAF about the suffering of anyone. That’s the power of fiction to show truth.
incredible photo that's definitely worth at least 1,000 words from Andrew Harnik of Getty

I imagine myself a tidier person than reality would suggest.

I’d prefer to bring reality closer to my ideal, than try to adapt my self-image to what others may observe in my home.

In my view, it would be a reasonable limit on the First Amendment to prohibit the publication of the address of a private residence without the consent of the owner, resident or lien holder. The public has a right to know what neighborhood a public figure lives in, but not the street or house #

Only one more day of campaigns for a mayoral race in a city 500 miles away which I haven’t visited in 20 years and may never visit again. My opinion is totally uncalled for, but #vote for #mamdani not #cuomo.

Oof. I really wanted that for #BoBichette.

While I’m not so excited about the Dodgers having a dynasty, I find it impossible to root against Mookie, Ohtani, Yamamoto, Freeman and Roberts. Especially Mookie.

I can’t be the only one who hears #BoBichette and instantly thinks #BobaFett every single time. #baseball #starwars #worldseries #mlb #bluejays #toronto

I wasn’t old enough to pay attention to #LiveAid in 1985, but in hindsight the two great performances by #Queen and #U2 feel like a handing of the baton from the Greatest Rock and Roll Band to the Last Great Rock and Roll Band.

The federal government and its agents cannot be sued for defamation for statements made in their official capacity.

If #RFKjr is backing off his false statements about #Tylenol, it’s because the lobbyists got to him not the lawyers.

The worst part of any sporting event is when they excerpt “We Will Rock You” without continuing on to play “We are the Champions.”

It’s one song, people. Play it all.
