I have a piece in @prospect.org this morning! It’s about the AI industry and the cancer it’s likely to cause.

This one is both deeply personal and (imo) really important, so I hope folks read, share, reflect, etc!

Some highlights 1/🧵

More AI Means More Cancer
Many Americans will pay for AI with their health—especially thanks to Donald Trump’s war on renewable energy.

Larry Summers is stepping back from "public commitments," whatever that means. Good. Now to never let him come back.

My latest out today in @theintercept.com !

Donald Trump's campaign of corruption is the logical endpoint for decades of elite impunity.

Moving past it and restoring the rule of law will require unrigging our political system and restoring accountability.

NEW from @dylangyauchl.bsky.social in @theintercept.com.
Liberal Elites Kicked the Door Wide Open for Trump’s Flagrant Corruption
The president’s corruption is audaciously out in the open, but decades of letting the wealthy play by their own rules enabled him.

Much like the East Wing, the bank supervision agencies have been demolished.

The agencies no longer have the resources or inclination to rigorously enforce the law. More in my latest for @prospect.org.
