FYI the National Council of Nonprofits is collecting stories via this form about how the executive orders are harming nonprofit organizations nationwide. If you just got screwed today, tell them about it here. They're also asking who is comfortable sharing their stories with reporters.

“In the cultural imagination Michelle Buteau and Natasha Rothwell are embodying, fat women can simply exist.”

I wrote an ode to Survival of the Thickest, How to Die Alone, and three-dimensional fat characters for our @theflytrapmedia.bsky.social subscribers:

The # of times this Amtrak crew has reminded people to put on their shoes when walking around and to flush the toilet is a little gross. Good on the crew wanting to see different behavior, naming it and giving instructions. On the other hand, we are all sharing this space, let's be courteous?

We were truly having a party at a screening of the Luther doc at Dwyer Cultural Center in Harlem last night. It is a loving tribute, full of songs that have been part of my whole life. Highly recommend the film, especially in a group setting.
