Perahya is in Cairo and misses his wife, Umm Thana: “Of late my yearning has become so strong that I am not able to bear it anymore." He invites her to join him, promising she can choose her own carpets. 🤔

Some interesting, almost meta-medievalism in this article.
I can't see anything in this picture that would have made me think the designer was going for a medieval aesthetic. But apparently that's not the point. "The protective comfort of the Middle Ages" is the point.

The lovely 'Rota Fortunae' T-shirts, printed by Dark Peak Press, are incredibly good quality; not 'plasticky' and featuring different designs on the front, back and sleeves; behold!

Also: I know some of you really like the 'Rota Fortunae' bags. It is my duty to tell you there are now only THREE left in the whole wide world!
Plus the much-loved T-shirts (a bit superior to the average band T-shirt, though I say so myself) are down to the last few.

I have two exactly equidistant books:

"The baker did not then seek out luxurious ways, but popular and well-travelled streets."

"On all three the warping takes time, but the cloth rollers mean that long lengths or several items can be woven each time."
Pick up the nearest book. Turn to page 42, post the second sentence.

"It pulls at my clothing and sometimes I feel I've got to pick it up, cuddle and kiss it."
