Oh wow... episode 5 of #TheMightyNein was the first piece of entertainment (movie, TV, book, video games etc) that had my jaw hit the floor in forever. That definitely has not happened this year. Sheesh, Caleb's story was already intense in the actual play, but here? It's just insane. Hats off!

I've reached season 4 of #TheExpanse again. It was the book I liked the least. It felt out of place. And I remember that I did like the added storylines in the show, foreshadowing the Marco Arc among others. And also you do feel the switch from syfy to Amazon. They really upgraded the visuals here.

What's particularly great about the earlier seasons of #TheExpanse is how they've used the worldbuilding that was introduced in the later books and plussed the scenes earlier. Thereby setting up the later events organically.

I have to say, #TheExpanse is still one of my favorite shows. Especially seasons 2 and 3 are amazing.
I just hope in a few years, after the great Entertainment Consolidation and the AI slop era is over, the last 3 books could be adapted... preferably as theatrical releases. That would be swell.

Im currently figuring out the next act of my #dnd campaign. It is an over land travel of about 14 days (and there are a few plot points to happen on the way)... I'm trying to make travel with a convoy work. There will be a lot of NPCs... I'm scared. Anybody have experience with something like this?

Hm... everything I've seen in #Thunderbolts* I did like quite a bit. I wasn't prepared for the feels (which in absolute terms were not too much, but quite strong for a Marvel movie).
However, it still felt incomplete. Lacking more than just a "Thunderbolts will return". It's like the end is missing.

Well, the "A Minecraft Movie" movie was quite stupid. And by sheer accident and willpower they made it fun, entertaining and fast paced enough that I don't much care about its stupidity. That's quite an accomplishment.

So... #captainamerica 4 was solid. It got very close to actually taking a stance a few times, but smartly never did. It felt like it didn't go anywhere, but tbh that's what I liked. Just good fun without strings attached.

Today was.... nice. Things that i feared would be a pain were actually quite civil and productive. We got pretty close to a releaseable build of our software (due date is Tuesday 🤞) and now it is time for a lazy weekend to start.

3D printing and a little bit of 3D modeling knowledge is just amazing. I just designed and printed a small piece that broke off my shelf and now it is as good as new again. Otherwise I would have probably thrown (or given) it away.
