Splatoon as a video game franchise feels incomplete and thats entirely bc it came out in the 2010s instead of the early 2000s where it would have gotten a 52 episode anime and accompanying shitty 4kids dub consisting mainly of fish puns set against 22 minutes of blaring midi orchestral penis music
