A great neighborhood dive bar is one of my happy places. I live in SF, but work in Santa Cruz two nights/week. It’s always nice to me to feel welcomed at the Jury Room. Props to being a former serial killer bar. ;)

Still not up for posting nuclear war stuff right now. Starting to feel a bit better after losing our beloved cat last week. Watching this today definitely had me giggling like an idiot. Check it out. Trust me.
It's been a hard two weeks. Our lovely tortie suddenly got sick with cancer and had to be put down today at home. This photo was from earlier today. She was a wonderful friend and we tried to make her last day as calm and happy as we could. The vet who assisted her was a true gift. I'm just so sad.

If Trump pushes for drug cartels to be recognized as foreign terrorist organizations (FTOs) instead of transnational criminal organizations (FCOs), I don't think that it's going to end well for Trump, or the rest of his cabinet. I don't think the Secret Service has the resources to deal with this.

Just finished watching "How to Train Your Dragon (2025)". Was this remake needed? Absolutely not. Did I like it? Hell yes. Gerald Butler did an amazing job, but in the end (for me), it was all about Toothless. More Toothless is good. That's all.
