It is wildly stupid that utility accounts set up for you by a landlord are not automatically cancelled/closed the day you move out.
Fuck you mean I owe $50 for an empty room I didn't live in for the past month? And I had to find out about all this via a bill, and not from my apartment manager?

Man I miss streaming full time. I don't miss being in poverty, or the insane workload, the occasional trolls or negative comments, or hyper-awareness of The Numbers, but I do miss every part of my day mattering and giving me satisfaction and joy.

Finally got the last part for new PC!
Can't wait to build it this weekend and get back to streaming occasionally (probably a LOT once Mon Hun Wilds is out tbh).
I say this fully expecting to be sporadic as hell again, but in theory my life should stabilize a bit more after this week

How do I have imposter syndrome for my interests?? Job i understand, but "oough alas I don't play enough hidden indie gems and transformative experiences with less than 100 reviews, how can I possibly consider myself interested in video games??"

Update: Clinic apparently had my lenses in stock so I got my new glasses today already, and jesus christ.
I thought I was just getting old. That it was just getting harder for me to stay present/focused, and thats why life didn't feel "real" for the last few years.
Turns out, just blind as hell.

Oh no no no I'm at the eye doc for the first time in a decade, and just from the initial screening tests I can tell my vision has gotten SO MUCH WORSE over the years lmao OOP. Glad I finally have insurance to take care of all this 🫠

Update: Clinic apparently had my lenses in stock so I got my new glasses today already, and jesus christ.
I thought I was just getting old. That it was just getting harder for me to stay present/focused, and thats why life didn't feel "real" for the last few years.

Something that needs to be accepted is that no social media platform will ever remain "good" permanently.
Enjoy the comfy vibes while they last, but eventually the Line Must Go Up, and then there will be unnecessary features, or catering to advertisers/investors, subscriptions/price increases.
