I call this one “lucky”
I happened to be walking around a campground a couple years ago with my vintage @tamronamericas.bsky.social ‘81 300/2.8 and spotted him. I generally don’t have patience for wildlife photos, glad he came to me.

If you plan on headed to Maui take a tent and head to Kipahulu campground on the south east shore of the island. Site 16 is something out of a dream.

Lately I’m wondering if I can transition to “professional” photographer.
I got into photography as a way to up my Instagram game and over the years I’ve developed a passion for it. Money I received from brands got spent on new gear, that has left me in a place where I have the professional gear.

Reflex lenses got a bad rap because they were slow and hard to nail focus. The image stabilization, high iso, and focus assists in new cameras make them worth looking at in my opinion. They are small and affordable.

I love this one. I shot it in the stairwell of a Nashville club after more than a couple of beverages. Using an old manual focus Takumar 50/1.4 with my Sony A7II. I am still amazed at how sharp it is. #portraitphotography

Northern lights just 20 min outside my city last year.
It’s always hard to get the motivation to go out at night to try and find them. More often than not they don’t show up, then the night you don’t go out you see everyone’s posts raving about how amazing they were. #aurora #northernlights
