Some reality tv stars are auctioning off various things to raise money for Minnesota. Just sharing the link. Bid. Don’t bid. Just don’t start sending anonymous complaints. #bbsky go.rallyup.com/standwithmn/...

That’s the tradition for hosts. Cast members usually get more. #SNL

All of Alexander Skarsgard’s characters feel as hammy as King Lear. #SNL

And Jane Wickline is #SNL’s premier writer now. She’s shining.

Ashley Padilla is the new star of #SNL. No disputing it anymore. She’s broken out.

Now that the chain of custody for these documents has been broken, can they be deemed inadmissible as evidence for any accusations?

I love the moment when Harry apologizes for getting upset. It’s just a nourishing moment for the narrative considering his bravado in the first act. It’s a real release for the audience. #tcmparty

Katz Delicatessen was in such a bad part of town in the 1980s and it felt so grimy that when we took my grandmother, she put napkins down on her seat before sitting down and would only order hot tea. This movie had a lot to do with ensuring this restaurant’s survival. #tcmparty

As a framing device, the couples testimonials are just as genius as a grandfather reading a boy a story. It’s almost like musical theatre in the way that side characters come in to lighten the tone, change the subject, and deliver comic detours. It’s narrative punctuation.

If you were bored in NYC, there were always bookstores and record stores. Now, it’s martinis and designer boutiques.

Now they’re in the Shakespeare & Co. bookstore at 81st and Broadway. My eyes are misty. I miss browsing bookstores!! When they vanished, it all went pear-shaped. #TCMParty

There is more than a little in common between Billy Crystal’s know-it-all character at the start of When Harry Met Sally and Wallace Shawn’s know-it-all in The Princess Bride. Where’s the iocane powder? #TCMParty

I always notice that. The cute little lights on the house. Using a low budget to the advantage of the mood! #TCMParty

The saturated colors and studio sets that prevail in this movie have a wonderful heightened reality to them, like the obviously-fake sets of the MGM musicals. The hinky inauthenticity adds so much to the storybook sense and the suspension of disbelief. #TCMParty
