It's vitally important to vote. We must vote. And he'll be crushed.

I agree with all of that.

However, it is foolish to think that he won't try something.

It's doomerism to think we already lost. It seems overly optimistic to me to think we already won.
Hope for the best, prepare for the worst

Oh I'm sorry, I must be confusing him with the other Democrat Senate leader, my bad

His expertise would be invaluable, but his fecklessness coupled with him staying in power for decades is... Not a good combination. Had he gave room for successors, he'd have left a much stronger legacy. I do hope he'll make room after midterms, but I'm not convinced

Thank you for the reply :)

But not Chuck! And he's the face of the party, unfortunately

Just make it a fine if you don't vote, say 200$ or something. Also make election day a holiday. Participation will be in the 90% with just small changes

Getting reliable Democrats that fight fascism... Fights fascism.
Getting corporate Democrats that tither and roll over fascists... Doesn't.

I'll vote blue no matter who (always have), but make sure to vote in primary to get someone who will fight for their constituents.

Immigration generated 15 trillion to the economy over the last decade as well!

Is it fun to being randomly mean to people for expressing disappointment?

Why are all these email provenances redacted? They did the redactions better for Epstein's friends than his victims
February 8, 2026 at 4:16 AM
A) not even close to being there yet, unless it's a very simple task, anthropomorphic probably wouldn't be ideal either
B) the speed at which they'd be damaged would make it more expensive than regular employees
February 7, 2026 at 5:43 PM
Why on earth is the provenance of that email redacted?

Traditional behavioral models of bargaining interpret acceptance of #unfair offers as simple reward maximization. This study shows that #inequality aversion also shapes these decisions and identifies the #dACC as a regulator of responses to disadvantageous inequity @plosbiology.org 🧪 plos.io/4kmRadA

Smells like Kremlin to me tbh. The idea that Trump would have better foreign policy was stupid 9 years ago, and completely divorced from reality today

We're scared too. It's all disgusting and terrifying. Just trying to stay sane, wake people up to the danger and stay focused on the trials ahead.
I just refuse to give up. That's what they want. The instant we stop believing in the power of the people, it stops existing.
February 5, 2026 at 4:39 PM
Sadly, well aware. End of the day though, I still believe there's more people believing in democracy in this country than there are of the masked cowards
February 5, 2026 at 4:26 PM
Is there a point to the doomerism, exactly? People should go vote. They should also go protest if able. We have all the power if we stand by each other.

Not in the USA, other countries are acting against their local perpetrators.
February 5, 2026 at 1:28 PM
That's because what we want goes against the (extremely narrow minded/stupid) corporate interest, while what republicans want doesn't immediately mess with the power structure and wealth inequality

And for the record, I still voted for them, despite knowing all that, because biased, mildly corrupt politicians are better than fully corrupt fascists. And there are people in the Dem party I do believe in.

However, stop this nonsense villification of the left, it's just... Inaccurate and petty

I give you evidence of DNC bias and interference, which you clearly didn't read due to how fast your response was.
That is exactly what willful misinformation is.
It's easy to just say that all who disagree with you are idiots, much harder to find a cogent argument. I'm just sorry I wasted my time

I voted for every single person that the DNC picked out. Everytime. Did I think they'd make good presidents? No. (Biden was ok). Did most leftists do the same? Yep.

Did we have to put up with whines like this every time for daring to dream of actual progress rather than incrementalism? Everytime.
