Given the absolute musical bangers produced by those of the Catholic faith over the centuries, you'd think the Vatican could come up with something more inspiring. Should've asked Paul McCreesh...

This is serious. 400 academic jobs! The closure of vital schools. I’m glad to see this response and I hope they will keep pressuring university management to change course.
A *very* robust open letter to Cardiff University’s Executive Board about its cruel & unnecessary cuts from Cardiff’s Labour MPs Jo Stevens, Stephen Doughty, Anna McMorrin and Alex Barros-Curtis👇

If you can get tickets to see Jenufa at the Royal Opera House, go. It is phenomenal and worth every one of your pounds. Superb in every single respect.

This one has hit the stands and I am delighted. It's Leighton's work through and through with me doing bits and bobs. Some papers are a pleasure to work on and working with Leighton is always good for the brain. Good for the soul too.
Pleased to report I have a new article out in Public Administration Review with my academic boss in Cardiff Business School, the amazing Prof @drsarahgilmore.bsky.social

Let's start with the important things. This is my feline overlady, Betty. She's five years old and feisty. The photo on the right was taken after a spat with a local rival. Pity the rival, my friends. Pity the rival.
