dyslexia is kind of surreal - like, not as a person who has it, but the concept of a person who when they look at a bunch of small objects sometimes they get the order of their particular spatial arrangement incorrect, and--that's it.

strange we built a world where this ability matters so much???

agree with the technical/descriptive aspects of this VERY much, game as 'super-position' is a really good way to look at games and making them.

i remain iffy on designing to guide players through the super-position.. but it's undeniably effective & useful for making something that people enjoy/get.
game design is about super-positioning and becauses

learning how to make a level that is secretly seven different levels at once, overlaid on itself, so people w different approaches can find their own way through

learning how to make a level that gives people a "because"...i went this way BECAUSE
