Been inspired by Suzi Ruffell the comedian, who takes toys when she goes away on tour. I have beanie baby with me on my overnight work trip so I can send photos to my son. Result is that I look like I have an emotional support animal, but I’m ok with that - he’s good company.

Sounds like an interesting research project into the classification of “gifted and talented”:
Are you over 18, and have you previously been identified, or are you currently classified as gifted and talented? As part of my doctoral research at the University of Bristol, I am investigating the effects of this classification. If you are interested in participating, please scan the QR code!

Grim prison treatment of a vulnerable person leading to her death described here. This article is really sad, and highlights a clear need to consider mental health and neurodiversity in this setting and provide proper help.

I’m on my way to deliver the first of a series of training sessions for staff on a mental health ward, aiming to reduce empathy-based stress. This is the start of the pilot study that is part of my NIHR clinical academic doctoral fellowship and I am so excited! (And a bit nervous!)
