Farage also wants an apology from the BBC "for all of your appalling output" or he won't speak to them again. He sounds very, very rattled.

if that's our daily breakfast in Reform's Britain then it's a no from me. Cheap arse tinned tomatoes have no place on breakfast plates and putting your hash brown on beans 🤢

The saving grace is they've let food prices rocket so much the plate is smaller than your tea so you can swallow in one gulp
Slightly obsessed with Reform UK's teeny tiny photoshopped breakfast.

He's showing who he is. Acknowledging behaviour but not accepting responsibility for it... and he bullying and being demeaning again
Second, Farage's response is such a tell: he's normally a smart communicator, but he's clearly massively on the back foot and defensive over this. A good response would be "I was a little shit at school; I am sorry for the horrible time I gave other kids. The views I held then are not who I am now."

Really enjoyed the @warmovietheatre.bsky.social ep about Civil War. I saw it in the movie during presidential campaigning and the phrase “they shoot journalists there” resonated too hard. I walked out of the cinema scared that I was watching a prediction on the near future…

As expected my area doing ok except for this measure of living environment which has surprised me as I stare out the back window at the park trees...

Good morning and welcome to Fish For Tea Friday

You don’t need perfection to move forward, just one steady step and a bit of belief in yourself
Choose lightness where you can, strength where you need it, and hope in the unsure spaces.
You’re doing better than you think.

I’ve never been to New York, but from old York to new, I’ll happily repost & see if we can swing some more points for Mamdani
One last time: Every time I post it he goes up five more points.

You’ve made it through another week of ups, downs, and everything between.
Pause for a moment, be proud of how far you’ve come.
Carry kindness into today; it’ll take you further than stress ever could. 💛

Fun fact I spotted: Prince Andrew’s officially-declared income is sufficiently low that, were he not British, Kemi Badenoch would deport him for being below the threshold to be a fiscal contributor.

It makes me mad that mps who are voted in to represent all their constituents feel free to post racist material without being called out & hauled in for beaching standards .
Reform UK MP Sarah Pochin, “It drives me mad seeing adverts full of black people, full of Asian people, full of anything other than white"

Followed by that time Sarah Pochin said, "My kids say: mum, you're such a moron" 👀

made the mistake of watching a bit of the wrong #TheTraitors uncloaked episode last night and got a spoiler for the ep I've not seen 😱

if there's any need for AI in this world it's to prevent spoilers for who's been murdered!

@metoffice.gov.uk you've updated the website design today and made it white text on dark background. I find that really hard to read cos the text is too bright. I can't find the option to read it in dark text on white - please can you make that more obvious

It’s time to take back what’s ours.

At the #BlueEarthSummit I joined Feargal Sharkey and @cleanilkley.bsky.social to call out the scam of privatised water, and show how public ownership can become a reality.

starting a trademark lawsuit to protect your earnings is clearest illustration that what you're selling isn't food but what Chris van Tulleken would describe as an "industrially processed edible substance" www.washingtonpost.com/food/2025/10...
Smucker’s sued Trader Joe’s over an Uncrustables dupe. How similar are they?
The household jam brand says its crustless peanut butter and jelly sandwiches have become a multibillion-dollar business.

@cassetteboy.bsky.social knocks it out of the park again!
New! Cassetteboy vs Keir Starmer.

This took absolutely ages, so if you'd like to buy us a coffee at ko-fi.com/cassetteboy we'd really appreciate it. Thanks!

Keir Starmer's aides are reportedly telling him not to go to the COP30 climate conference, because Reform would attack him for it.
Yes, they might.
And he should wear it as a badge of honour.
Standing up for humanity, for science and a habitable planet.
Where's the hazard in that?

There’s no such thing as a wasted act of kindness.
Small acts of kindness often make the biggest difference, for kindness, in any measure, is never lost.

Be kind
