Having children with autism, I am beyond disgusted with the comments made yesterday by RFK Jr. My kids are amazing gifts to this world. They thrive and are the most creative and loving humans. What I would like to say to him and all that support his lunacy is, "fuck off and get educated".

Happy Thursday. I love the description of “watching out for glimmers”…even small things can be glimmers in your day

How are you doing dear friends?

Take a mindful breath.
Feel the earth under your feet.
Be where you are.

As you breathe in, say to yourself, I know that I am breathing in.
As you breathe out, say to yourself, I know that I am breathing out.

Repeat as needed, till you feel less overwhelmed.

If you are searching to breathe in some peace in this crazy time, I highly recommend driving through the Avenue of Giants in Northern California. It is breathtaking and reminds me of what we need to fight for..

Sunday is upon us.

New start? End?
Well, start or end, you’ll always have a beginning.

Let’s begin with caring for our friends. All of them.
No more no less.

Y’all have a wonderful day.

Be surrounded. Be nice. Be supportive. Be there. Be kind. Be more. Be complete. Be you.

Take no shit.

“The flag should never be displayed with the union down, except as a signal of dire distress in instances of extreme danger to life or property.”

"'We’re bringing attention to what’s happening to the parks, which are every American’s properties,' said Gavin Carpenter, a maintenance mechanic with Yosemite and military veteran who supplied the flag and helped hang it."

Just as a flower needs consistent care to bloom, you need to invest in your growth and self-care to flourish.

Only when you provide yourself with care, will you have what’s needed to care effectively for others.

Self care is resistance.

THIS. 👇 (Thread.)

Protect the most vulnerable. That will protect *everyone.*
One of the most important things we can do right now is to try to help the people who are most in need and at risk.

It’s not just about who we defeat; it’s about who we lift up, who we center, whose voices we choose to listen to.

JUST IN: Another medical horror story in an affidavit from a USAID employee stationed overseas. Says his pregnant wife was not medevac-ed for emergency health care because of directives from DC. Took intervention of a U.S. senator to reverse — but was too late. s3.documentcloud.org/documents/25...
