Don't vote for Bam de NamBas, worst mistake I've seen in a while.
Description of a dream where a bunch of people dressed in yellow unwittingly vote for "Bam de NamBas", a killer snake that eats anyone who looks at him. They may have voted for the killer snake because they were displeased with the current political environment, or because his name was funny and kinda sounded like "Bananas". Either way, they were unaware of his violent nature when he appeared and began to kill people. It is uncertain whether or not he won the election.

This is your Mr. Driller deep lore reminder that Taizo Hori the protagonist of Dig Dug is his dad and is canonicallly a divorced dad
modern render of Dig Dug guy with a chibi look goatee and white suit and pump Taizo is Susumu Hori's father, and the main protagonist of the Dig Dug games. Taizo was once married to Toby Masuyo, but they divorced. He is the chairman of the Driller Council, and solved the Dig Dug incident of 1982. Taizo now likes to go travelling around the world, and is almost never home, which often makes Susumu, his son, sad. Taizo, also a glory-seeker, sometimes becomes jealous of Susumu's popularity, since he believes he is the best driller (and won't waste a chance to brag about it). Despite these things, he has a good relationship with Susumu. His relationship with Ataru is strained, and while Taizo has nothing against him and will joke with him, he is still disliked by the elder son. Taizo has been gullible, as evident in one of his cutscenes for Mr. Driller: Drill Spirits, when he thought that money was food - Wiki entry
