@mcuban.bsky.social I believe that you are backing Guardian Bikes. You should be aware that the company is repeatedly failing to meet shipping windows and not providing accurate info in response to complaints. We had hoped to give the bike as a Hanukkah gift but b/c of repeated delays not possible.

@gavinnewsom.bsky.social Strongly suggest that you focus your attention on Russell Vought. The focus on Trump is appropriate to a degree but he is not running the gov’t. He is a figurehead only, in it for the adulation, not the policy. The damage to the gov’t is being dealt by Vought.

Not sure if the Epstein affair is intended as a distraction, but the fact is that while the media takes us down a rabbit hole in pursuit of further evidence of Trump’s abhorrent behavior, Russell Vought is not so quietly dismantling the roles of co-equal branches of government…

What the hell are you all doing while Musk and his minions are ripping apart the Treasury Department? Why has he not been dragged before the Senate to explain what he is doing? Don't understand

Putting aside the utter stupidity of this idea Trump's comments align with his comments about having the tallest building in New York after September 11th and his dreaming about more beachfront for Mar-a-Lago if the Florida coast was washed away by a storm

Paul Krugman re Musk: “If this is really the case, and serious people say that it is, we may already have experienced what amounts to a 21st-century coup. There may not be tanks in the streets, but effective control of the government may already have slipped out of the hands of elected officials.”

Musk’s intrusion into payment system used by the Treasury Department means he now has access to a lot of personal data including bank accounts, social security numbers, etc. As if things weren’t stressful enough already now we have to be vigilant about this potential line of attack.

Warning to world leaders. If you are not willing to engage in a trade war with Trump don’t threaten one and then back down. It only lets Trump claim victory and emboldens him to bully any country that doesn’t bend a knee. Columbia’s response could not have been handled more poorly.

Little being said about the impact of another Trump presidency on the SCOTUS. With Sotomayor refusing to retire and allow Biden to nominate a replacement while the Senate is in Dem control, unless she somehow hangs on, it is certain that Trump will make the next pick. A 7-2 conservative majority
