I get unreasonably excited when the Mexican guy whose mom makes lunch plates out of her home kitchen calls to take our order. She doesn’t cook every week, so it’s a happy surprise when she does. And it’s TAMALE WEEK.

I have not one dang clue what Bad Bunny was singing, but seeing all those flags walking alongside the US flag looked good to me. Wish we could all just walk together in life that way.

Several years ago, someone created a Twitter account to call me out as racist. I couldn’t believe someone perceived me that way and was so convinced that they needed to create an entire account just to make it known. I wish I could remember now what brought it on.

This. She didn’t *take* anything from anyone else. She *earned* her spot and people want to *take* it from her.
The number of women telling me that Lindsey Vonn should have stepped down to allow another to compete is MIND BOGGLING. This criticism is rarely (if ever?) leveled at male athletes. Vonn earned that spot. It was her decision to take the risk. Only women are expected to "make space" for others.

Even if it was a staffer, 1) they hire racist staffers and 2) their racist staffers think it’s acceptable to be publicly racist because they’re likely exposed to other staffers being racist privately. There’s zero way that it’s ok for this to have been a staffer.

3. While the president may have dementia his racism is not due to dementia.
4. He isn’t sorry. He means every racist thought he shares.
5. His base agrees with him.
6. He will do it again.
7. No one in power will hold him accountable.

So they’re going to issue body cameras to ICE. What happens if they just… don’t turn them on? Is there to be a consequence for that or are they just going to be allowed to “forget”?

Most health-related comment sections are a dumpster fire of despair but Ballerina Farms has been selling E. coli milk and the comments on that story give me hope. As it turns out, a lot of people think pasteurization is a good thing and prefer their dairy without a side of diarrhea.
