Well that’s the August Bank Holiday over and straight into Winter this year ☔️
I keep having a recurring dream that I’m retaking my A Level History exams (at 35) and am panicking as I haven’t done any work & need to go over the whole curriculum again with only six weeks to go.
If any arm chair therapists out there can help me get to to the bottom of what this means pls help.

Inzaghi flapping around being a distraction while his central midfield gets completely overrun is everything that’s wrong with managers who want to kick every ball. Passion doesn’t counter poor tactics. Mikhataryan and Barella were invisible first 60 minutes. No subs before game dead and buried.

Went to buy a coffee this morning. Was asked by three separate machines if I wanted to leave a tip. Does anyone else find this really annoying?

Compare Kieran #Tierney and Trent AA. Both 1st team similar time. TAA way more appearances, G/A, truly historic moments. #Liverpool paid nothing for TAA, #Arsenal won’t recoup circa £25m outlay because both leaving on a free. Liverpool boo TAA out the door while KT gets hero send off #CantBuyClass

With two games to go in the premier league we now know definitively that Tottenham Hotspur have lost five times as many games as Arsenal this year (20!), but are on the cusp of ending with silverware. I can’t make sense of this.

For me the better side won but #Arsenal showed a lot of naivety, couldn’t maintain blueprint where we had #PSG on the ropes and dangerous balls going in their box + then just so many balls just broke unkindly. Didn’t think we got any luck. Havertz would have scored in one of the ties I’m sure of it.

All these payment machines asking if we want to add a tip are just trying to increase their commission while putting millions of Britons in an awkward position daily. It’s not our culture to tip every time we buy a pint or a croissant and it has to be stopped. U.S. culture forced on us for profit.

The Evening Standard website is the most appalling user experience on the internet. Why would anyone ever want to click on their links? Genuinely impossible to get to the bottom of an article without being attacked by adverts. Terrible for ES brand and users.

Arteta needs to introduce a fine of a week’s salary for fouls conceded near the opposition box or on an attacking corner. So many promising moments (and pressure relieved) by dumb, juvenile decision making repeatedly. Utd defenders were hoofing it back to @arsenalfc.bsky.social all day yesterday.

England have a last 20 problem. That much is obvious. We also keep picking a child who can’t box kick in Harry Randall who makes the team worse when you need impact… and he’s taking the place of so many top quality scrum halves, which is on Borthwick. Tom Curry was immense.
