thinking abt my goty…i’m still making it through e33 + hades 2 atm but if i’m just counting games released this year, then silksong is probably taking it unless e33/h2 really wow me later on. if i’m counting all the games i played this year then it’s probably between hollow knight/dgs

now that i have finished silksong i can say that act 1 feels like a hazing ritual, act 2 is where you finally start to get used to the game, and act 3 swings wildly from some of the best moments and fights in the game to some of the most undercooked

act 3’s difficulty curve has been all over the place for me. beat both skarrsinger karmelita and the final boss within half an hour but got pummeled to dust by lost garmond of all people
