This paper by Claire Fox and Jo Deakin contends that young people's rejection of favourable opportunities, or their choice to remain in precarious situations, should be recontextualised as unconventional but valid expressions of resilience.

Very much enjoyed speaking at the Women@Manchester Aurora launch today, ably assisted by my 3 year old (who told me to be quiet because he couldn’t hear his Octonauts episode). Even managed to squeeze in references to Dolly Parton, Britney and Morecambe and Wise. WINNING!
