Did you know that Mages in 7th Dragon (DS) have a soft cap on their damage? If the damage they would deal is greater than 10 * their INT, any damage past that point is reduced by a whopping 80%! In some rare situations, this can make their charge skill (which is a 2.5x multiplier) a downgrade!

Having played with the mouse mode of Joy Con 2s a bit, I could see Etrian Odyssey mapping controls working on the Switch 2 like this? Not exactly the most comfortable but not like unusable.

Heh. Probably could have been phrased a lil better since 40+ is the true dead zone of stat gains, it's pretty standard stat boost fluctuations in the tables otherwise. But the 20s are a sweet spot for the bros if you wanna grind up for the gauntlet. Woe to anyone who did that when Bowser was 40+.
In Mario & Luigi: Bowser's Inside Story, Mario and Luigi's level-up stat gains are bizarrely based on what level Bowser is currently at. If he is at a "good" level, they will be several times more powerful. The game does not tell you which levels are good and which are bad.

more RPGs should do what mega man battle network/star force do and just let you randomly encounter higher-level versions of bosses you previously fought. the newgens need to know how it feels to get jumped by quickmanV3 when you're still in the earlygame

Incredibly cursed shiny spawn (below the satellite dish). The guard rail protects it from long distance sniping. I can't get into a safe distance to lock onto it at all. Targeting it from the ground is a no go, the building is too high up for me to target it.
